Have you ever felt like the bottom is falling out and everything is going wrong in your life? We have all been in this predicament. It doesn’t make it any easier but Jesus warned us that we would have problems in the world. No one is immune to pain or insulated from suffering and no one gets a pass for a problem-free life. Life is a series of problems. Not all of them are big but God has a purpose behind every problem. Did you realize God uses problems in our lives to draw us closer to himself? I have heard the best God-Stories others have experienced through suffering.
When your heart is broken, when you feel abandoned, when you’re out of options or when the pain is great – this is when we turn to God and experience intimate worship. It is during suffering that we learn to pray out most authentic, heartfelt, honest-to-God prayers. When we are in pain, we don’t have the time for superficial prayers. Do you realize that everything that happens to you has spiritual significance? God has a purpose behind every problem. Everything that happens to a follower of Christ is allowed by God and He intends to use it for good even when Satan and others mean it for bad.
Romans 8:28 – We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
If you are facing trouble right now, don’t ask, “Why me?” Instead ask, “What do you want me to learn?” Trust Him, God wants to use your problems to fulfill his purpose.
