Thank you, Pastor Chuck, for encouraging us to read through the book of Proverbs this month. In Proverbs 31, I love verse 25: she can laugh at the days to come! The reason I can laugh at the days to come even when the world appears dark, I know that God is in control of my life. Daily, I choose to experience laughter and joy. I choose to believe that God is always working, knitting together the fragments of my life, always in control of it all, which means my life will work together for my good and His glory!
Laughter and joy are not just a nice add-on to the Christian life, the bow on the top of the package. It is God’s purpose for our lives. It is time to embrace it so you can laugh at the days to come.
What do you allow to hold you back from living a life of laughter and joy?
